Healthy snacks recipes
RAW CHOCOLATE AVOCADO MOUSSE
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado
2 tablespoons of cocoa
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
Instruction:

Remove skin and pit from avocado and slice

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth and creamy

Add cocoa and maple syrup (add more if you like it sweeter)

Serve and enjoy!
HEALTHY AVOCADO CHOCOLATE BALLS
Servings: 12
Ingredients:
2 Medium Ripe Avocados skins and pits removed
1 Cup Dairy-free Chocolate Chips Vegan
2 Tbsp Almond Milk
1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1/8 Tsp Himalayan Salt
1/4 Cup Shredded Unsweetened Coconut
Instruction:
In a saucepan or double-bowler slowly melt the chocolate, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool for a couple of minutes.
In the food processor place the avocado, maple syrup, and salt and blend until smooth.
Add the melted chocolate and continue mixing until incorporated.
Chill the mixture in the freezer for 15 minutes. Once chilled, use a melon baller to scoop chocolate into half inch balls. Roll the balls in shredded coconut. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
*Best if served within 24 hours.
AVOCADO
Avocado are very nutritious and contain a wide variety of nutrients including 20 different vitamins and minerals: vit K, C, B5, B6, E, folate, it also contains Mg, Mn, Fe, Zn, vit A, B1, B2 and B3. Although it contains 9 g of carbs, 7 of those are fibre so net carbs is only 2.
Avocados are very high in potassium,
several studies show that having high potassium intake is linked to reduced high blood pressure (HBP), strokes and kidney failure.
